Had a great stay and staff were good but the place is starting to look a bit abused. Found carpet beetle larvae crawling across the floor of our room
Counting the days until we can come back!
We booked the Koibito Love room for a night back in November and it was just phenomenal. The bed is so soft, you have your own balcony which is great to enjoy your morning coffee on and the bathtub is one of the highlights of the rooms and you must try it if you’re staying in this room.
Themed around a Japanese Love hotel you’ll find everything from traditional kimonos on the wall to anime movies available to watch. We also paid the additional fee for breakfast in our room and it’s worth every Penney! The sheer size of it will keep you going way past lunch time. Amazing choice of cocktails and even though they don’t have an on site restaurant the staff have some amazing recommendations for places nearby.
What a stay we had here! If you're looking for a unique stay then this is the place for you!
We normally stay in the more traditional hotels but thought we'd try something different... and we are so pleased we did!
This boutique hotel was like NOWHERE we'd stayed before.
Our unique room - The Paradise Room, I think - was wonderful!
I don't want to ruin all of the surprises if you stay there but it included a four poster bed, a record player with records and even a hammock!
A really memorable room and overall experience and we'll definitely return to try a different room the next time.
Thanks for making our stay special! :)
Fab retro friendly hotel, short walk to town centre, we stayed in the David Bowie room, very comfortable with hot tub, hotel owner very welcoming and a very good full English breakfast. Wood highly recommend
A quirky hotel in Regency Square over looking a green space and stones throw from Brighton seafront. We visited during COVID-19 lockdown restrictions still being in effect. We were welcomed warmly and given our room also given explanations clearly about how the hotel was operating during restrictions. The room we stayed in was the 'Tropical room', think 18th century wooden jungle hut meets rock and roll!. The room was large enough complete with a hammock which we all tried and a record player which we took turns in playing a selection of records on offer. In the evening after having dinner out we decided to have a cocktail in the hotel bar, the bar follows with the whole quirky theme of the hotel - artwork, wonderful wallpaper etc. Liz made us some lovely cocktails. Breakfast in the morning was tasty, fresh and hot - catering for vegans and vegetarians as well the more traditional full english. Will definitely be back and cannot recommend this place enough.
