Even though, design and usability dun go everytime hand in hand. Staff, breakfast, rooms pretty good. But you know? The toilette :) send your wife out of room, take boom box and febrece or go to public toilets, unless you have a very good and strange relationship

The team was more than welcoming, trying to fullfil any requests. Thanks a lot to the team from receptionist over cleaning staff to spa team!
Access to spa is not limited by hours but by occupancy, but since we were there during the week there was always a free sauna, jacuzzi or hamam without interfering what the other guests.
Rooms are clean and the hotel was modermiz d in 2018, the standard room has a bit suboptimal bathroom with a bathtub.
We could use the spa shower after checkout when we came back from skiing and the hotel stores our stuff during the day.
Rich breakfast with good coffee.
For dinner there are three restaurants, potentially reservation might be a good idea and wasn't mentioned when we called the hotel to gather some infos.
Surely not the cheapest option in Zermatt, but it was worth it!
We absolutely LOVED the hotel! Staff was super friendly, everything with modern and very clean, the food was fantastic and location amazing. Would 100% stay here again! Thanks for an unforgettable stay!
Unfortunately I was last minute dining alone, but the waiters were super attentive, asking if I required entertainment and made my evening fabulous, considering this place is known for meat, my ceviche starter was incredible and definitely a new take on an old classic, the sole main course was also exceptional. In a nutshell, great service, great food and relaxed environment.

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Romantica! Beyond the incredible, clean and cozy cottage room (go for it if available), a highlight is also the owning family. They really made us feel at home with their hospitality and care. This is the way to really experience Zermatt, even during covid you feel safe and relaxed - looking forward to being back soon!
Excellent stay. The unique hotel has such a touch of style, clean, very good food, nice bar and restaurants and a very beautiful spa! Employees are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend

The atmosphere was cosy and the service very attentive and friendly.
It was a really good expirience! The staff was friendly and volunted to do the best in order to make our stay cozy and pleasant. The restaurant had delicious plates and the breakfast was complete. It is located on the heart of the city and the view was amazing. We highly recommend it !!!
Top class hospitality. During our stay, each staff warmly welcomed us and very friendly. We stayed in a Junior Suite (room 323) and it was home away from home. Spa experience was of high quality, clean and relaxing. We are looking forward to visit again. One downside but does not change my rating, was the carpet in the room is very old/stained could be replaced with hardwood.
They filmed Running Man here. A very luxurious chalet. A one week stay costs an average person's one year salary at the cheapest (55,000 CHF). However with that price you get a whole chalet to yourself, personal housekeeping staff, a Michelin star chef, free massage, and other special amenities. The location is up the mountain a little but still close to the main street that runs along from/to Zermatt train station, which is about a 10-15 minute walk away. You should be able to see Matterhorn from the hotel as a group of people tend to gather at the nearby Matterhorn Museum to watch the Matterhorn lights go on at nighttime.
Amazing place in Zermatt.
We stayed 1 night for the birthday of my wife. John, Andrei and the rest of the staff was super nice. They really take personally care of you. They organized us a birthday cake - total surprise as we did not asked for it. Very nice wine cellar with amazing choice. We had the fondue on the balcony with view on the Materhorn: splendid.
Cute hotel. Great view of the Matterhorn from out bed. When the clouds part anyways. The staff are friendly and all a little quirky. They made us laugh (behind their backs of course).
The breakfast is terrific.
Amazing experience, every detail was perfect, rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is great, the spa is the most beautiful I ever saw, just amazing. Totally recommend, thank you all,the staff for being so nice with us and our dog!
Awesome place in Zermatt, extremely friendly and helpful staff
Had an amazing stay here! The views from the room are superb. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is spacious.
