Very friendly and welcoming. When we checked in by Nick and Tamara, got a very friendly welcome. A tour of the place and checked in the room . Breakfast is awesome. Waffles are great . My son loved it every day we stayed there. Met the owners Steve and Tracy ,very cool people . Had a great conversation with them at the breakfast, made by them. Property is at awesome location of 89 on edge of National Forest,Emerald bay, US50 , State-line and close to a lot of other fun activity places . It was good to see that there are still hospitality place run by family and not corporates . We will be back again when it’s not snowing next time .
Absolutely love the Fireside Lodge.! We have never felt so welcomed with our fur baby. They truly love dogs and genuinely good good people. Nick, Tamara, and Tracy are amazing! We're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time up in South Lake Tahoe. The lodge was comfortable and warm. Steve and Tracy (owners) were very accommodating to our needs. They certainly went the extra miles. Will certainly come back.
Amazing place! I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. From the moment we checked in we felt so at home, including the welcome of our fur baby! From the happy hour, s'mores, amazing breakfast, unique cozy rooms, a perfect Hallmark vacation place, this is it!!! Highly recommend and yes, we will be back.
Our hosts, Tamara, Nick made sure our stay was the best it could be! For starts, we were greeted with a glass of wine and a tour of the property. That's the way to welcome your guests, I say! The property is beautifully appointed with lots of antiques and special touches throughout. The "fishing" room was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen nook window looks out into the woods. Breakfast was delicious, but my favorite time of the day was happy hour by the fireplace. The wine flowed freely and nice nibblers to go with it! It was all those personal touches as well as the perfect location! Thanks, guys!
