I couldn't be happier with this well-priced hotel! I stayed 3 nights for a ski trip, and it was clean, quiet, and the front desk staff were very friendly and responsive. Great location (I asked for a room facing away from the street, towards the back), and I am picky about it being quiet at night. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved (even during winter) the balcony. Only 10-15 minutes to Heavenly NV side, and less than 10 min. easy drive to CA lodge. Great restaurants right nearby, as well as the Safeway. I'm sure I'll be back!
The hotel itself isn’t too bad, the rooms are modern, updated and clean. Where this hotel fails is in hospitality. We informed the hotel we were coming to elope and celebrate over the weekend. They did not do anything to celebrate this, even a simple note would have been nice. They couldn’t even accommodate a late check out for us and they ran out of plastic utensils. You would think with the current pandemic and the high cost of the rooms at this establishment, they would be more prepared for simple measures like this to accommodate people eating take out or having to eat in their rooms.
Nice stay, clean room was provided and allowed pets which was a plus. Overall the room was nice, provided amenities were good, and good location. Will stay again on my next ski trip and recommend the place to others.
Although the room was decent, the staff had very little interest in making your stay better.
As a matter of example they came out with a wait list for the hot tub and they make you stay in the room for hours waiting for their call with no visibility how how long more is the wait. So at the end you cannot go even to the corner because if you miss the call you are done, and guess what they say if you ask them to call your phone stead....
Holy location!!! The hotel sits across the street from the south end of the lake. Our lakeside room had a fairly unobstructed view of the lake and mountains. The hotel is far enough away from the touristy area of town that you get the quiet, nature feel while still being close enough to shopping and restaurants. Our hotel balcony was above the hot tub although we hardly heard anyone out there. The morning views from our balcony were breathtaking. We stayed 4 nights. The room itself was great. Very spacious and cozy. The pillows were so great! I usually hate hotel pillows because they offer zero support. But these ones were so great! The bed itself was equally as comfortable. Hotel staff were super friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely stay here again.
