I have tried to use your qr code to be able to tell you how fantastic our recent stay was at 30 James Street.
I would like to reiterate what I said to your Manager today, that your staff are a credit to you and hope that they would be rewarded on their professionalism, care and attention they give to your customers.
In particular Anthony, who went that extra mile to make our stay special and memorable. I will remember my 50th celebration weekend always, due to his happy and helpful disposition. Another special mention has to go to Will and Jonathan who also went that extra mile to make our stay special.
Thank you again guys, we'll definitely be back.
Arrived and Anthony on reception was lovely!
When we seen our room we were a little surprised and had mixed feelings, both me and my partner were hungry from our trip so just dropped our bags and left again.
On return we had a real look around the room and showered.
Dead bugs were in the bath and there was a broken light hanging off the wall.
The walls had marks everywhere.
And the dust was so built up around areas of the room you could write your name in it.
There was a pest control trap behind the dresser that looked to have never been replaced.( worries me why its there at all)
The weird second bed that was sunk into a black cushion area where the walls were also black fabric had so much dirt and dust that my partners asthma was effected.
Ask to be moved room and the staff did right away but sadly the next room was just as bad!
Dirty carpet, a smell in the bath room like dirty drains and much more.
Never have I ask to leave a hotel but had too, it ruined our evening but asked for a full refund which at first was told it could not happen but then that changed to a yes?
Took a little time but found a much better hotel cheaper price and better area!
Do not stay here unless you don't care about it being clean.
Needs a revamp. Over priced for quality. Good location.
Amazing hotel, friendly and helpful staff, will definitely be returning in the near future
The staff were excellent , so welcoming and looked after us so well especially David and the breakfast staff , Anthony in reception and James and his manager at the roof top bar !
