What a place! From the entrance until the check out everything was perfect! The hotel has a marvelous rooftop with a breathtaking view to the Tagus river and all over Alfama! The staff is fantastic always ready to help out! A place to go back to without any doubt!
So we have always wanted to stay here and last weekend we booked a night away and loved it. It is very quiet and peaceful even though you are right in Alfama. I was surprised how tranquil it was. Of course the show stealer is the upper terrace with awesome river views. It was a cold morning in January and we still wanted to sit out here and have coffee in the morning - at least for a bit until we got chilly. The room was simple, clean and nice with air/heat and plenty of room. The community dining area was pleasant and the breakfast was great. It is a quaint and charming yet modern and clean place to stay and relax and recharge.
This hotel is very nice, clean, and in a great neighborhood for exploring the old town of Lisbon. The terrace is amazing and breakfast is delicious (especially nice to have breakfast on the terrace with the sweeping views). Be aware, however, that the typical Double room is relatively small. We stayed at 4 other hotels in Portugal and all of the rooms were larger than this one. That's the only thing that brings this review down to 4 stars. Otherwise, perfection.
Great modern hotel in Alfama, rooms are clean and tidy (although not the biggest), attentive service from staff, great breakfast and breathtaking views from the terrace which is also great to have a drink after a day through Lisbon
Beautiful inn tucked behind a cathedral. Outdoor deck and pool overlook the harbor and the beautiful city. Wonderful.
