Reviews from visitors:
As what the name suggests, this hotel is charming! This is my favourite place to stay in Brighton because the staff are lovely, the interior decor makes the hotel feel really cosy and it is in a great location and competitively priced.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge at times, so check out the different roads that you can park along and their respective prices beforehand.
Shout out to Eugenia and Daniella - the entire staff are so lovely and friendly.
Also, the spa treatments are great. My partner loved the Thai massage and pedicure.
Stayed for two nights prior to the hotel sadly having to close it’s doors as Brighton slipped into Tier 4. Can’t praise highly enough either the accommodation or the young ladies running the place. Absolute 5* gem, minutes from the sea front, with plenty of reasonably priced on-street parking available. When this madness finally ends, pray that they’re able to reopen as we’ll be ringing to book a few more nights.
Unable to attend due to Covid restrictions and refused to refund.
We came here before my daughter's wedding. The room was perfect and we couldn't believe the effort they had made to make the room special for my daughter: bunting, hearts and chocolates plus a really personalised card. The staff at the hotel are genuinely lovely people. I defy anyone to get better customer service anywhere. We also had a massage and manicure and pedicure which were all first class. Thank you, Charm. We will be back! Highly recommended.
'Charming' little guest house style hotel. Right by the sea front and five minutes walk from the pier. Staff are amazing, very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The room was a good size with a lovely bay window, from which we could see the sea. The bathroom was modern and clean with a rain shower plus a hand-held shower head. Measures are in place regarding Covid19 and we felt comfortable and well looked after. Due to the pandemic, the Breakfast Room is closed but cooked/continental breakfast is delivered to your room in a cute basket freshly prepared. I chose this hotel as it's one of the few that still have spa facilities in use. The facilities are only for a maximum of two people at a time and are sanitised between uses. The hot tub is in the back garden and it was a lovely experience however, the garden is over looked. The private steam room was another truly relaxing experience with total privacy and a bluetooth speaker to play music. I also booked a massage with their massage therapist Ami, who was professional, polite and friendly with magic hands! The only reason a star has been knocked off is because the phone reception and WiFi in my room was truly awful - rendering most smartphone functions useless. We were not able to make calls, or use any internet or data from the room and there is nowhere else in the hotel that's private to use your mobile. Despite the phone issues I highly recommend the hotel and maybe people not on o2 or EE would fare better. A special thank you to Christine, Eugenia and Eduardo for making our time with you so special and relaxing.
