Lovely and colourful room's.
We had a lovely stay at the Lime House. A fantastic location in Brighton. The room was bright and open and it's obvious that a lot of thought has gone into décor of the rooms. All the necessary amenities were provided - hairdryer, fan, kettle for a cuppa. The beds were sumptuously comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
Our room was spacious and well decorated and clean. The bathroom was also clean and well equipped. Our room was on the top floor and as there is no lift a good pair of legs was needed but was fine for us.
The bed was comfy and the duvet nice. Our only complaint were the pillows which were incredibly flat and there were no additional spares available in the room.
The hotel's in a great location but be prepared for some late night street noise which can't really be helped.
Would happily stay again.
A lovely place to stay in Brighton, the staff went out of their way to help us. It was the first break with our baby, so it was a challenge but made so much easier with the help we had from the staff here.
A lovely large room, sea views, comfy bed, clean, great price.
The only reason it isn't a 5 star review (and this is quite a niche reason!) is that the floor was quite creaky and the light from the sign outside came through the window until it was turned off at 21:30. Not the most soundproof of rooms, but the traffic slows around 20:00 anyway.
Lots of restaurants, shops and sights all walkable from here.
Parking on the Square outside was easier than I thought - if there's none available, just do a couple of laps and there's always one that becomes available.
Would we stay here again?
Definitely, yes. Thank you all at LimeHouse!
My wife, daughter and I took advantage of school vacation and sunny weather to spend a few days in Brighton, and booked into Limehouse. We were absolutely thrilled that we did!
From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, and showed us to a lovely sunny room on the second floor. The room itself was warm in all respects - it was surprisingly spacious with a bay window through which we could see the sea, a large, very comfortable bed, a modern and clean en-suite bath, and a sofa on which to drop after a long day of exploring. What made it special were the little touches - the coffee selection, the little decorations, the selective use of color, all of which made it feel more like a home than a room.
The location. Is perfect - the inn is located in a square only 6-7 short blocks from the Brighton pier, and the seafront is literally at the end of the road, perhaps a 45 second walk if you stop to chat along the way. The square itself contains a large garden in the center, so despite being in the midst of Brighton there is a peaceful feel as if you are a bit away from it all. And at the top end of the road are some very good restaurants, shops, and anything you may need.
We loved our stay, and were actually quite attached to the place and sorry to leave. But we will be going back again and again.
