It was a really good expirience! The staff was friendly and volunted to do the best in order to make our stay cozy and pleasant. The restaurant had delicious plates and the breakfast was complete. It is located on the heart of the city and the view was amazing. We highly recommend it !!!
I travelled in early 2021 and found a very cheap deal for this hotel (less than half of the ordinary rate for the period). Overall, I think it was ok for what I paid. I would have been very unhappy to pay the full price - there are much better options for 500 CHF+ per night in town. To charge the full rate the hotel needs a deep refurb, starting from the older rooms and SPA.
ROOMS Overall-> ok but not really 5*. The first room I was given, a "Suite", was very old and noisy - there was literally a party going on next door. Soundproofing is generally very poor and mattresses hard and cheap feeling. Linens were good though. The second room I got had no guests on top nor on the sides, and I asked for a mattress topper. The room was much fresher and had a nice view, and the topper made the mattress "bearable" if not ideal.
SPA Enjoyable but very tired. Again, not 5* standard
BREAKFAST Can't fault it. Excellent quality and quantity
SERVICE Staff was very professional in handling my queries and managed to make my stay enjoyable overall. I can't complain - there are structural issues that are beyond their powers.

From the moment we got picked up by the carriage the staff and service was exceptional and extremely attentive. They all went the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. We had 3 different kinds of rooms, they were all great and exactly what I asked for when I spoke to them on the phone. We ate in the restaurants of the hotel every night and also had drinks at the bar. Our experiences were great thanks to the quality of food, but also the friendly staff. It is such a luxury to come back from skiing into the ski room, where someone helps you with your ski storage, gives you slippers and a bottle of water. Then you recover in the spa to then go down for amazing meals in the hotel. The atmosphere in all the restaurants and bars of the hotel was a perfect combination of comfort and luxury! Will definitely be back again.
We had lunch here at the Lusi and it was amazing! The patio was comfortable and relaxed with beautiful views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt. Our server, Marcel, was wonderful. He gave excellent recommendations and was wonderful to chat with. The food and drinks were excellent, the service was very fast. Would love to eat here again!
