Just one downside - Matterhorn only visible from balcony.
Excellent location, short 5 minutes walk from the train station. We were there only three days, so we only had a small pack sac and the walk on the main road is just fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us good advice with planning our days. The room impeccably clean with a huge balcony. Breakfast was perfect. I had the muesli with fresh fruit salad and my wife had an omelette.
Couldn’t have been more impressed with this place. Went to Zermatt on a whim and was lucky enough to stay here. The staff was incredibly kind and above and beyond with accommodations. The rooms are spacious and well designed. The bed was super comfortable. The views of the Mountian are amazing. The lodge is centrally located and just a short walk to the village and Harry’s Bar. You can easily walk to the gondola or the bus stop. This is hands down my first option for lodging and I won’t come back to Zermatt unless I can stay here.
Built in 2012. Really contemporary but traditional touches inside. Awesome shower. Bed super comfortable. We couldn't see Matterhorn from our room, our terrace was shared. Breakfast very basic. Good location near the old town though.
The Hotel is new and modern with tastefully decorated in Swiss design. The room given to us has a magnificent view of Matterhorn. The staff were hospitable and provide excellent service. The breakfast provided was continental breakfast but with order of egg dishes. It feels like home!
