Hotel and restaurant with parking
The staff was warm and very helpful . They even offered us hot water bottles for the night as we visited during Christmas time. Enough toiletries and amenities inside the room were present as we checked in.
They made every effort to make the stay comfortable.
Only thing we noticed was, the atmosphere was dull even though it was nearing the new year period, so 4 star for it.
A heritage hotel located at the beginning of Mall Road. Staff is excellent and provide very personalised service. Breakfast is fantastic and anything that you want can be made specially. Rooms are well appointed and spacious
Beautiful heritage hotel with excellent ambiance throughout the property. We were upgraded to a bigger room with beautiful drapery and nice views.
Comfort- 10/10 (especially the bed and pillows!)
Bath/shower- 10/10 (hot water and pressure were amazing)
Amenities- 9/10 (hygiene products were great but expecting a little something special for the price and quality of the hotel, like a bath robe or fine chocolates or something)
Heater provided which made our stay much more comfortable even in October.
Staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
Food is expensive but presentation and taste exceeded our expectations. So delicious! You get what you pay for.
Getting to the hotel was a little confusing at first, but once inside we were greeted with their specialty apple cinnamon tea.
Overall: expensive luxury treat for special occasions, but worth the stay!
One of oldest property in Shimla, very well maintained. British era Hotel, and the hospitality starts right from Reception area. I like the Road slope leading the entrance. Excellent food, efficient, courteous staff. The post will b incomplete, without mentioning the outdoor sitting areas. It's difficult to maintain gardens in Shimla, but lush green walks along stairs, and flowers everywhere in coming season. Keep up Management and staff, u r excellent.
