Absolutely loved the hotel design and the artwork displayed throughout, especially the Warhol. The room was beautiful - didn’t have a view unfortunately. A very cool hotel. Plus it’s in Old Montreal, so the area is also great. Plan on staying here again if the opportunity presents itself
Upon leaving the hotel, I realize I’d left my jacket in the room, so I called and they found it. I was told they’d ship it to me. Shortly thereafter I was informed it had been “misplaced”. It was an expensive jacket, I suspect someone at the hotel stole it. They offered me literally nothing for this, despite my protest.
Stay elsewhere.
Charming hotel. Beautifully decorated and very friendly and helpful staff. Good beds. Shower is not to powerful and breakfast not very elaborate. Loved the high ceilings and bar. Staff had good recommendations for restaurants. Lovely place.
Overpriced and the WORST sleep I've ever had at a hotel. Our room was a corner room, which I thought was great until we heard a child jumping on the bed in the room next to us while screaming and watching TV at full blast. That lasted until 10pm and we had 1.5 hours of peace until the people on the other side of us came back to their room and were knocking on doors, in and out of their room, slamming the door repeatedly and yelling down the hallway at their friends. THAT lasted until 4:30am!!! Call to the front desk did nothing to quiet them down. Needless to say we got no sleep and were too tired to do anything the next day.
The decor in the hotel is tacky and confusing. Nothing matched and the rooms are very outdated.
The hotel does have a good location and the staff is friendly but other hotels do too. Don't waste your money here.
Awesome place to stay in old Montreal. The whole place is like a gallery, always something to look at. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooms with everything you need. We will be back!!
