tucked away off of lower St-Denis street is the Loft Hotel. you could pass it thousands of times without noticing. but if you do find it, go in, see the amazing chandelier in the lower lounge, talk to the friendly woman at the counter and she might, she just might let you see the amazing elevator. this is a boutique hotel, quiet during the week, awash with well-heeled youngsters trying to get some privacy in Covid time on the weekends. very cool, indeed.
Amazing value...The room was very clean, the staff were very good and went above and beyond. Yannick at reception was very helpful , pleasant and professional!!
Decent hotel. Really hard to find. Rooms are huge. Rooms are slightly dated and beyond perfect. It's like renting an Airbnb. Pretty much has the feel of being in someone's home.
Overall they charge way too much for the rooms which are a tad bit outdated to say the least. There were some imperfections that’s for sure and the place was worn around the edges. The staff are rude as other ppl have commented. They advertise that they have breakfast but they don’t. And they may you pay for parking. I won’t stay here again.
I have not booked a room at the loft hotel. Nor would I, under any circumstances. Let me clarify this further. If was given a free room, with unlimited champagne, and the woman of my dreams just happened to be naked and waiting for me in a loft hotel bed, I still would refuse. I would not submit my body to a stay at the loft hotel. I do not wish to develop a penicillin resistant strain of gonorrhea or a fatal flesh eating disease. This fear stems from the clientele it attracts. I have lived in the area for the past three years. In that time, I have looked from my window in horror at the creatures that darken the doors of the loft hotel.
