I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. My favourite part is the cafe which has a vintage old style vibe and very nice music playing all the time. Their food is great and the people there are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is just a couple minutes away from Old Port. For anyone visiting, this place is a great location:)
We were woken up early in the morning to itching welts. Searching the sheets we found a bedbug! The ensuing trip to the laundromat was less than appreciated... We now feel paranoid that we may have brought bedbugs into our home and car.
Also checking in was strange. The prices listed online are utterly inaccurate. We paid a deposit of 150, for 150 the night, for a 300 $ initial charge, a far cry from the ~70$ listings, and the host kept warning us of the non-smoking policy.
Checking out, the host would have nothing of our bedbug encounter, and was in a hurry to have us move on with our day.
Breakfast was delicious. Room was so clean. Atmosphere was Very peaceful .
A splendid place in Ye Olde Montreal. I was able to walk to everything. There's a subway station nearby. The proprietor helped me book a last minute tour of all of Montreal. The room that I had was clean and I called it home for a few days!
A budget hotel that is great if you want a cheap place in an excellent location. Clean small rooms that are a bit run down but good enough for a budget place. Quirky historic. Walls are very thin so be warned of you are a light sleeper.
