Reviews from visitors:
The king suite w/ocean view was beautifully decorated and large enough for 3. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. If your looking for a place right on the beach, in the middle of all the Miami fun but still suitable for kids then this is it. The large pool is very clean, they offer food and cocktails while your sunning/swimming. There's also beds with covets if you don't want to be in the sun. The people that work at the pool always make sure you have clean towels and will do their best to get you lounge chairs/beds. The beach service wasn't quit as good as the pool service but it didn't matter that much. The grounds are so pretty you have tons of backdrops to take pictures. I would stay here again on my next visit to Miami Beach.
Starting to get nervous about this hotel!! Our stay isn't until the end of May but the bad reviews have been pouring in over the last few weeks and we're starting to wonder if we should look for a new place to stay! My biggest concern is that for the past two weeks my S/O and I have been calling the hotel to check on our reservation -- we booked through Booking.com and we should have been charged the cost of the first nights stay so far, the rest will be paid upon check-in. However, we haven't been charged yet and we booked back in January! Long story short, every time we call the hotel no one answers... we've both tried, different days of the week, different hours of the day, different extension lines on the phone, nothing! So many of the reviews I'm seeing say that the hotel is extremely short staffed; I just don't understand how no one, not even the hotel manager is picking up the phone, ever. Every time we've tried calling we sit on hold for at least 15 minutes and then end up hanging up because we just don't have the time to wait on the phone all day. I even left messages on their machine with my name and phone number for a call back. We would love for someone at the hotel to reach out and confirm things! Honestly, if I wasn't seeing so many bad reviews I probably wouldn't care but I'm really rethinking staying at the Nautilus!! Anyone have any good reviews of the hotel (within the last month) or a recommendation of where else to stay?? So stressed.
+ staff was amazing

- very dirty
This was a super disappointing experience, stars are for the location and that's about it. There are so many better hotels for the same price or cheaper. The following were issues that I found to have made my trip less than exceptional:
1. The walls are super super thin. You can hear every single thing in the hallway. And people here are really loud (not the hotel's fault).
2. My friend had called the front desk about 10 times on a Thursday afternoon to try to contact them to send something to my room with no response. Seems like an odd time to not have anyone manning the phone considering when I checked in that evening there were 3-4 people at the desk.
3. There were multiple hairs in my sheets, right by the pillow upon arrival. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable no matter what. And surprising that no one noticed before. The room was otherwise clean /functional enough besides the towel rack in the shower being loose.
4. The front desk people (aside from the one brunette woman who checked me in; she was great) had an attitude and were generally unfriendly.
5. The front desk did not give me the 2 drink vouchers I was entitled to upon check in, and would not give me a credit the 1 drink I had (and paid for) after the fact despite the fact that this was their own mistake.
Again, great location but there are definitely better places to stay for the same price or cheaper!
My stay was great. I requested for an upgrade because I didn’t like my room and they were able to provide. Associates were nice & professional. Just be careful though when you dine in at their restaurant. I was charged for something I didn’t recognized. Well, after the dispute with my bank and when I saw the investigation information from Nautilus accounting, it turned out that they charged my card instead of my friend’s card. What happened was, my friends & I ate at their restaurant. My other friend who was in charge of paying wrote his room # on the check/bill & so I gave him cash for my share. I have a different room number but they chose to charged my card for some reason. I didn’t pursue it assuming they didn’t charge my friend’s card. Oh well! Every day is a blessing!
