I loved this place. Character galore. Clean, safe, no fuss. Great mix of backgrounds of guests. Fantastic back lush patio. Service was A++ Eric found my wallet, walked out to the street did give me directions. Guy who checked is in also went above and beyond. Great welcoming staff. Walkable for us to most things, free trolleys steps away to farther things. Will def check out another Freehand property in the future!
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean. The rooftop pool/bar area was definitely our favorite. It was beautiful with comfy sunbathing beds and great views overlooking the beach. I also would like to express my thanks for the great customer service to the staff especially Isaiah and Christian. They did a wonderful job making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will be returning here.
This is the best hotel to stay at in Miami Beach. Rob N did an amazing job checking us in and following up with me throughout my stay. He made our stay very special. I’ve been lucky to stay at many hotels in the Miami area and the 1 Hotel is the best one by far. The service here is phenomenal, everyone is so friendly and attentive. The room quality is out of this world. Plus, all the added extra amenities make it so you don’t have to leave the hotel if you don’t want too. The smell alone throughout the hotel is insanely good. I wish I could give Rob and the 1 Hotel ten stars!! Definitely coming back!
This hotel is a great find. Very clean, great location and amazing new restaurant downstairs. Mary and the other girls from the front desk were so accommodating with our surprise engagement stay. I am so grateful for selecting this hotel and highly recommend for those looking for comfort, service and cleanliness

The staff is always courteous, friendly, and super helpful. In particular, Kayla Parker in VIP services has always been great to work with.

We stayed at the W for 3 nights and attended a beautiful family wedding. We were treated like royalty by everyone we came in contact with. Every staff member was polite and helpful. The food at the hotel was so excellent that we ate every single meal at the hotel restaurant. Ricky was a server that stood at as truly being beyond welcoming. He made our dining experiences special. The bartender at the wedding, Ricardo, also stands out as being exceptional; he made up a specialty drink for us that everyone raved about. The wedding that we attended was beyond beautiful. Claudia helped execute the bride's vision; we were very grateful. Thank you for the special weekend!
Once we arrived I felt so comfortable & treated with care. This was our second stay & liked it even more. It is casually elegant & people are very friendly & happy to please you. Breakfasts were delicious with everything freshly made.The popovers are fabulous!. Dinners were so wonderful at LT steakhouse right off the hotel lobby. Drinks were so good crafted by Max at the bar. Rooftop pool is inviting & water warm to truly enjoy. So ready to return.
I stayed here last year pre COVID-19 and let me tell you what an amazing little boutique hotel. From the small amenities to the decor and rooftop pool- I LOVED every minute of my stay.
The outdoor resort area was beautiful and relaxing!! 5 pools to choose from! Also two hot tubs to be able to soak your aching muscles which is fantastic because many nearby hotels don't have them anymore. The pool water is also amazing there is something they add that just makes your skin and hair so soft and exfoliates your feet!! Can't wait to try their dining options next time.
A modern-style hotel for those who want to be pampered and play in Miami's beautiful South Beach. The nightlife isn't hectic, but you can find a spot by the two pools, the patio/garden, the Red Room, or the beach to party. The 4th of July and New Years Eve are the largest party times, but even in my room overlooking the party on the night of the 4th I barely heard a sound. The stone walls and floors most likely help with this.
If quieter relaxation is your style, the spa offers a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials. The hotel restaurant, Dies y Siez, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with delicious local foods and modern takes on classic Spanish heritage dishes. There is also a bar on the beach with chairs and umbrellas included in the resort fee.
If you are looking to explore Miami, a house car is available to take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Otherwise, cabs can be requested by the valet. For travel to the Miami Airport, cabs offer a flat $35 fee, which is less expensive than cans traveling the opposite way.
The rooms are modern minimalistic and meant more as a place to sleep and dress between the beach and clubbing, but are perfectly fine for a night in watching tv. The mini-bar is expensive, but offers sodas, alcohols, wines, spirits, and food. If the room hosts adults, a "couple's kit" is available as well. For around $35.
Overall, the Shore Club is a great place for those who enjoy the nightlife as well as those looking to enjoy the finer things South Beach has to offer.
We were worried about the curfew during Spring Break, but SLS was so fun and entertaining. Our server at the pool, Ladonna, was amazing! Her personality, her service and her vibes were just above and beyond. Jennifer was also amazing and very attentive. Glad we were here during the curfew and still managed to have a great time.
This hotel exceeded my expectations! First off I had the King Terrace suit on the third floor and it was beautiful! I felt like I was staying in a glass box!!
The hotel was so clean and the staff was great!! Also, the full breakfast is included in your stay which is amazing!! Lastly, the beach is 2 blocks away!! Perfect!!

Arrived in the morning, way before check in time. Unfortunately because they're like a small boutique we were only able to check in 2 hours prior to the original check in. Otherwise when we got to the room everything was great. Hotel staff always greeted us when we were in the lobby. We only stayed one night so we weren't able to really enjoy the other amenities. A good stay nonetheless!
I feel bad only giving 4 stars because the service is 5 stars but the rooms are TINY and the bathrooms are even smaller. They really need to do some upgrades there. The overall cleanliness of the resort was fair. The staff was incredibly attentive though. The beach is great. The location is awesome and the view from our room over the pool was out of this world. We got the large balcony and it was totally worth it! Our balcony was amazing. We actually spent an entire day on it.
We enjoyed our two night stay here for a wedding. It was busy at check in with spring break going on and some amenities had restricted hrs with COVID + curfew, but all in all, we had a great time!
View was awesome, room was clean and everything was well maintained, loved the rain shower head, and our brief interactions with the staff were pleasant.
Wonderful stay. Cool, art deco styled boutique hotel. What really sets this place apart from the competition is the high level of Superior service and friendly atmosphere the staff provides. The effortlessly accommodated our every request. Rooms are a bit small, hotel pool is crowded but the outdoor space is still provide a very chill atmosphere. Highly recommended.
The best place I ever stayed in Miami. Staff was phenomenal and very informative especially Ben.Rooms were clean hotel was clean. Our room was amazing plenty of towels and the bed was comfy. We had a nice view of the pool area.I loved the robes. The pool area was cute and relaxing. I highly recommend and I wouldn’t want stay anywhere else. You can get around easy and not far from the shopping area and we could walk to the beach.But you don’t have to walk to the beach because the hotel provides a complimentary beach service and provides towels chairs and umbrella.
I found this on groupon a few years back. I love the decor funky and eclectic. Service was great the rooftop patio was really nice. I would come here again.
I couldn't find parking nor could I locate the hotel office. I lost money on a hotel room. Plus no one answers the phone. On a positive note, I stayed at a nice hotel across the street but ate at The Tavern. I the food is delicious and the guys who worked there are hard working. And because of my great experience at The Tavern I gave a 4 star review.
