AWFUL COMPANY.
refused a refund of over £5000 despite the fact that the hotel was closed when we were supposed to be there. All the could offer after months of trying, was a voucher that expires within 6 months. Takes months to get a reply from them, and even when they do reply they are absolutely no help. AVOID!!!!
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!....they are illegally refusing to refund me £4000 as my booking was cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic and instead using scare tactics to force me into rebooking or accepting vouchers when they have gone into administration. There customer service is shocking and they have no empathy or customer care and are clearly only motivated by money. Many businesses are struggling to through this pandemic but yet do right by their customers. Numbers of customers are in the process of taking legal action against them!!
Booked to stay in the nature room for one night and the room was amazing! Very clean and overall I loved the decor and just the room itself! However, I would say that trying to contact the company is ridiculously hard, I had to post on several social media’s and send emails to even get a response! After liverpool got put into tier 3 there was no communication on whether it was still open and we could go, I had to ring and send several emails to eventually get a response. I would recommend to stay in one of the rooms as I loved it but getting in touch would be quite hard.
In July 2020 we stayed at The Vault, at a cost of £1620.00, to celebrate a birthday.
The apartment and the overall facilities were nice, clean and spacious, however sadly our stay was far from a happy one.
We checked in at 6pm, and very quickly found that the sound system did not work. Given that we were there for a celebration, this was a big problem. We tried everything we could think of to get it to work, unsuccessfully. We contacted the hotel at around 6.30pm, and nobody came until 8.30pm (After I spent money for a taxi to get to the hotel reception on the other side of town).
At the hotel, I explained the problem to the manager who was on call that evening. He came to our hotel and after unsuccessfully attempting to fix the issue alongside another gentleman named Carl, he provided a replacement speaker, which did not measure up to the x3 speakers fitted in the apartment / advertised on the site. This was nowhere near what we expected after paying that amount of money. Due to this issue, the manager advised that he would allow us a later check out time of 1pm by way of an apology. We felt that although it was disappointing that there were still some problems with the stereo system this was a reasonable compromise and as such gracefully accepted.
The next morning at around 11am, Carl and a lady appeared at the entrance and very abruptly and rudely told us to leave. We explained that, due to the problems of the previous night, the manager had arranged for us to have a later check out. In a very aggressive and rude manner the gentleman said that we didn’t have a late check out and told us to ‘get out now’. He advised that the cleaners were waiting to clean and reiterated in an offensive manner that we were to leave immediately and he left to wait in the lobby for us to leave.
One of my friends went to the lobby to again try to explain the situation. As he was explaining that the sound system hadn’t worked properly Carl abruptly interrupted calling him a liar and said that it was working as he had been in the room the day before, (despite being there himself that night when it wasn’t working!)
As I am sure you can imagine my friend was very upset at this and advised the gentleman that he didn’t need to be so rude. The gentleman then told my friend to f**k off. At this point he asked for the gentleman’s name so he could report him. He refused and only on the fifth time of asking did he state that his name was Carl.
I tried to get in touch with Signature Living several times since to give them a chance to rectify our situation, but have been ignored.
After what I can only describe as the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I have no choice but to advise others to refrain from planning stays with them.
Customer care awful. Give 0 if an option
