Covid restrictions in place but didn't really affect my stay. Chosen time for breakfast was available at check-in. Room clean and tidy. Right opposite the lift but didn't hear any noise. Good selection available at breakfast - only wish the guests would follow the (clearly marked on the floor) one way system
Excellent hotel very modern and very nice. Lovely place. Doing their best to stay covid secure during the pandemic. The local area you can find A mixture of architecture integrating modern structures but remembering and paying homage to the more traditional buildings. I loved the variety of buildings. Housing restaurants, bars and hotels. A very vibrant area and it was a hive of activity. I will definitely visit again. The city of Liverpool is a great place
Room superb. Staff friendly. Nice young man welcomed us at 3.30 check in any time after 3 pm. Still waiting until 5pm to get in room having travelled 4 hrs. Young man apologetic not his fault. Did his best and continued to apologise. Reimbursed 50 pounds and 2 drinks. Room amazing. View spectacular. 2 pounds for room service, rubbish meal and little choice. Know we are in covid but could have been more creative. We had to pay 24 pounds for parking one night council car park.Positives going for hotel is the young man, room,view and friendly staff. N b breakfast was great too.
Lovely room with a king size very comfy bed. Nice shower. As I only got to visit for work during lockdown I can't comment on the bar. Breakfast was OK but not stunning. Cooked food was only lukewarm.
Unfortunately we had a dreadful stay. Gangs of families with small children drinking and running around all the floors of the hotel shouting until 4am. The lift alarm continually going off all night.
I really felt for the night staff, but there were no controls in place. I was informed the police would be turning up to evict them, but, not sure they ever did.
Very few Covid rules were being enforced.
