Novotel Liverpool is a clean & safe hotel to stay in during these uncertain times. The reception staff welcomed us very well. Daniel was very helpful & thank him for his amazing customer service. Matt was also very helpful & quickly fixed an issue with the TV I was having. Overall great hotel & great service. I have stayed in numerous times & it never disappoints.
A modern hotel in an excellent location, with a gym, swimming pool and other amenities included in the price. Very close to Liverpool One and the Docks which makes it ideal for shopping and eating, etc. I wasn't too impressed with the separate toilet with no sink, especially in times of Covid-19, and there were stains on the carpet and the sofa bed. I did like the fact there was a fridge in the room, along with hairdryer and iron, which made things a lot easier.
Very Covid-19 focused. Staff very friendly couldn't do enough for you. Room nice and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was OK, definitely would stay again!!
A typically run large Hotel. I can personally see why I've made my mind up to just go B&B somewhere in future!. Don't get me wrong the Hotel is clean tidy with super friendly, obliging staff working in very difficult circumstances. Despite being on the 8th floor the Hotel was surprisingly noisy from the outside world, if you had the window open.The room was normal lay out for a large hotel, although it had an annoying separate toilet and shower/basin room, which meant trekking from one to other to wash hands. Our window was also filthy but this could be down to Covid? Breakfast was appalling! Cold, unappetising and only scrambled eggs, no other choice? one morning I had to point out the yoghurts had blown and were dated same day? Another annoying part being bread came separately in brown paper bags for toasting and believe it or not there is only one toaster for many people. We were surprised therefore to get back to our table, after toasting our bread, to find our breakfasts had been delivered and was now more or less cold. One evening too we went to the hotel bar and was surprised to wait round 15mins for a drink when the two barman ignored our presence. Not even an acknowledgement that we would be served soon. Definitely won't be using Novetel again. If Hotel had not already been reasonably priced, to encourage tourism, I would consider complaining.
Nice hotel couple of mins walk fron the city centre and Albert Dock, closed at the moment due to current covid restrictions,
When reopens it a nice stay, her is good too.
