Reviews from visitors:
I had a fantastic time at this hostel. Here's why:
- staff was very nice, helpful and always up to a chat
- the kitchen was big and cleaned regularly, both by the guests and staff
- overall the hostel was very clean!
- there is a big eating room around the kitchen and also a chill out lounge with couches, TV, guitar, yoga mats and tables to work on.
- showers and toilets were clean and modern.
- beds were comfy and the rooms clean and quiet. Of course my suggestion is always to bring your own ear plugs if you're in an 8 bed dorm ;)
- the hostel has many offers, some free, some paid to enjoy yourself in Lisbon.
I guess the only thing that could possibly be negative is the music in the reception area. It might not be to your taste at times and it might disturb you in the lounge area of you try to work. But hostel staff is very nice and will turn it down or change it if you ask kindly.
Sure... Amazing reviews... but they love to pay 2,5 euros an hour, in a night shift to their lovely staff.... capitalism at is best
The location is great, less than 5 minutes walking from the bus station, subway and boat departure. The place was really clean. The staff is the best, extremely friendly and always here for good advice around the city. The hostel also offers great activities (free or not). I had an amazing time !!
One of the best hostels I've been. Staff is friendly an helpful. Dorms are quite spacious and very clean just like the bathroom. Lockers where big enough to fit all my stuff. Wifi connection is strong. Common area is cosy en spacious. Kitchen is modern but can get busy at times.wich makes socializing easier ;). Sangria evenings are great as well.
Location is perfect price could have been lower compared to other places I've stayed, but it's still totally worth it!
Lost Inn is hands down the best hostel ive ever stayed in (in my 10+ years of travelling). I remember a friend from Australia told me about the hostel 2 years ago and said it was her favourite place on earth and now i understand exactly why.
Never did i think it would be possible to keep finding such amazing hostels and yet Im lucky to have found such a gem. From the first day of my stay i instantly felt i was at home. The amazing upstairs lounge/work area was so cosy i would love for it to be my actual lounge at home! Im a fan of arches anyway so the historic atmospheric nature of the building itself was a dream in paradise.
Im a true believer that a hostel is nothing without the staff and if it wasnt for them (Bruno, Ricardo, Rita and the owner Joao + all the wonderful volunteers) it wouldnt have made the experience as special as it was. They were warm and friendly from day one and it truly added to the homely vibe. The other travellers also made it a truly family atmosphere with people cooking, sharing food and having dinner together and you were always included.
Thank you Lost Inn for a wonderful stay, nice to be able to say i have a home away from home for the next time i visit (or move in :) ha).
You guys absolutely rock!
