If you are looking for accommodation that feels welcoming and sincere, especially beyond the usual hotel chains, then this lovely guesthouse should be right for you. Once through the nondescript door, between the two shops, and up the old elevator you'll find a friendly and warm set of rooms. The central location should be enough, coupled with the helpful staff and the amazing views - especially if you can get one of the top floors.
The breakfast was really good, it had nice variety and fresh food. The room was very big and clean. The showering experience was perfect, bed was soft, AC and coffee machine were blessings. The staff was super nice and location is also good.
The staff are charming and the bed comfy but it is a little style over substance. Pine floors and walls that meant I heard every foot and flush

Really loved this place! The “lobby” area is cozy and funky with plenty of seating. Check in was quick and efficient and the gentleman was very friendly and very helpful. Without asking he had taken out a map and started showing me areas of the city to see which was a really nice touch. Every-time I asked reception a question they were always really knowledgeable and more than happy to help out.
The hotel was very clean as was the room. The room was fantastic! Great size, cozy and stylish furniture, nice size washroom that was in tip top shape and the window even opened which was a great touch! I love being able to have some fresh air. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of comfy pillows.
Although the hotel was on a busy street I found it to be very quiet. It is also in a very central area so if your looking to walk everywhere then this is your place! Close to many main sites, the train station, shops and restaurants.
If your in Lisbon I highly recommend staying here. Thank you Shiadu team for the amazing service and great accommodation!
