The pictures of the private room on Expedia were beautiful; they showed wooden beams in the room that elongated the ceiling, with a balcony, and a great street view. It looked luxurious online so I decided to book it. I showed up to a tiny room, with no wooden beams, no balcony, and a view of a brick wall. The water was literally luke warm on 5 out of the 7 days I stayed here. When I told the front desk on a Day 2 they said they will have the mechanic check the boiler. I’m sure they say that a lot because nothing changed. The room had a slight musky, damp smell to it. It’s still a cool space, but not what was expected. It’s in a great location and close to everything, the bathroom is spacious and it’s very clean. I didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, so it is what it is. I sorta like it but wish it showed me what I was going to actually get at the time of booking. So, if you want the room you see in the pics on Expedia (even at the time of booking) make sure you choose the “Deluxe Room” or you’ll be in for a surprise. #hotel #questionable #portugal
Really poor communication. Happy to take money but with covid only offer a voucher which they then dont send to you or reply to any emails.
Very clean. Excellent location. Great staff. All staffs were kind, smiley and friendly.
Perfect place to book a holiday great service and good budget
Money is ok for a spot like this.the problem is that the rooms are very small and there’s nowhere to put/hang your clothes.furthermore ,it’s the first time in my life that the breakfast wasn’t a buffet but we ordered like in a restaurant between very few options and lots of them didn’t even exist (we asked them to add them and they did the next day).but serving breakfast without gloves during a pandemic?is this the right thing?
They gave us the attic.ok we’re not that tall.but,what if we were?we weren’t even asked if we can/like to stay at the attic.i didn’t make a scene because I was in a good mood and I overpassed it—even though I hit my head several times in that room.and I’m short.
Last but not least —when you ask for no room service (always due to the pandemic),they should respect it.nice bed.
