The breakfast is really good, but is not inside the Smart Hotel. Is actually in a associated hotel in the next corner, 2 minutes walking. In a 5 minutes radius, you can find some bars, restaurants, grocery shops and fast food. The room is comfortable, the bed would only be a issue if you are taller than 6.3 ft. Overall the cost benefit is really good.
So far the experience regarding Laguna Praia hotel is great! They are compromising and very hospitable, with me being Canadian there is a language barrier. However they are still eager to get your needs met! The food is fantastic!! Great setting, close to the beach and shops. Pool and recreational facilities in the hotel are easily accessible and wonderful views of the area.
I have to absolutely give a five star to this Hotel and to their staff. We came here twice over our honeymoon period. The staff is very nice and friendly during the check in, the rooms are absolutely spacious and gorgeous to stay. We as a couple who likes to have good food were very impressed at the variety of things they offered for breakfast, including the detox water that is offered on the lobby area.
We tried the different flavors and remember wanting to go back for more in the afternoon just to see that it was all gone.haha
Overall, we loved to stay here and hope we will be able to get back again!
This hotel is located in front of the beach in the Tambaú area, which is the main tourist area of Joao Pessoa. It’s a relatively small hotel, but staff are friendly and helpful and my room was nice (king sized bed looking out at the ocean).
This hotel offers an excellent cost-benefit. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is very nice; they have free parking and free wi-fi too. All this for less than $50 a night. How can you go wrong?
It is a nice place to stay with family. Right in the middle of João Pessoa, you can go to local markets, beach and restaurants by foot. Beside the view, which is excellent. The rooms are nice and comfortable, with new amd clean towels. I would recommend it.
I’m an American and I stayed here. I really liked it! Great place! Right by the beach walk too! The pool was awesome too! Only downside was the beach wasn’t that nice... and the water had tons of seaweed.
The staff is extremely nice and polite. The hotel has a good location and a very good buffet breakfast. However, the rooms to be renewed. The sheet was too small for the bed, so every morning we found ourselves sleeping directly over the mattress. Even so, it's worth the stay if you can get a room for a reasonable price.
