The location was good. The room was clean and full of facilities. Also, the areas around are great. There is a restaurant and you can order meals but the menu doesn't have too many options. Also, the supermarket in the town is very expensive and you might like to buy the things you might need on the way from another local shop.
Being a hotelier your expections are always high, you know how you treat guests and sometimes when your a guest you kind of expect the same. We had come here to spend a birthday get away unfortunately they were not able to make the experience a slight bit special, i had sent an email asking if it was possible to probably get a welcome birthday wish or maybe a piece of cake some sort of amenitie like a fruit basket or birthday card anything that could suprise my partner as we traveled on her birthday and the day was almost over, I had sent 2 emails requesting this and didn't receive a response, i called and the receptionist could not understand me so she said she would get the manager to call, didn't receive the call, maybe I'm exaggeration the circumstances or it may be petty but if it was not possible a response would have been appreciated.
Stayed here for couple of days and the view from the room was amazing. The staff at the restaurant are amazing and food as well is really good. Only drawback being you need to ask for a double bed or the hotel gives you a room with 2 single beds.
The ski place is just 10 metres from the hotel and the Piraveli lift is also really close. This takes you the top most point of Gudauri where you can find the vitamin cafe. One day pass costs you 50 GEL per person.
They also have spa, hot tub and pool that is included in the room rent.
Must visit during winter.
Great location, friendly staff, and spa was wonderful with view of the pistes. Had a lot of fun in the bar, few too many Chacha’s didn’t really help my skiing though :) will be back again next year.
Lovely rooms, friendly staff, great views and the top floor pool with 360 view of the surrounding mountains and slope is amazing!
