Reviews from visitors:
This is a truly unique place to stay in Granada. Literally built into a cave, so it can get a little bit stuffy, but the surrounding neighborhood is the real star. Winding, hilly streets that feel like they haven't changed in hundreds of years, plus one of the best views of the Alhambra that you're going to find. It's an easy downhill walk to the charming and historic Albaicin neighborhood, but keep in mind that there's a steep incline when you want to get back to your room. One more word of warning - if you're arriving by car, be prepared for some narrow maneuvering (think "Crazy Taxi") on your way there.
I'm in cave 3 now and it's wonderful. A perfect, peaceful and romantic spot away from the hordes. Super clean, Consuelo the owner is lovely and it has all the facilities you'll need. Do what you can to stay here.
A great experience and comfortable, a great area to stay for the Al Hambra and Granada itself, would definitely recommend. Bedrooms have curtains for doors so those with snorers beware...
Beautiful view. Quirky accommodation. Lovely service.
Great place. Excellent service and hospitality. The view from the narrow street in front is amazing. Right around the corner you can see Generalife and Alhambra. We were in Granada in a heatwave, and the cool caves were a blessing! The area seems much more authentic than downtown Granada. People are relaxed and down to earth.
We enjoyed the free wifi as well.
Very recommended! Bear in mind that Sacromonte and the caves have a lot of steep streets and stairs, so you must be in ok shape to get around.
