A stunning hotel, extremely well located to explore not only the Alhambra but all of Granada’s best! We loved our two day stay here and will return again. More helpful staff you will not find.

What a lovely spot. Host who met us was very friendly and helpful.
3 Apartamentos Casa Cuesta del Agua

The apartment is located in the old city center, many bars and restaurants nearby. 15 minutos walking to Alhambra. The breakfast is well prepared and has lots of varieties.
The studio is perfect for couple, bigger than our expectation and full of Andalusia elements. Good experience in Granada!

6 4u Hostel

What a wonderful place to eat, to have a drink or a coffee! This hostel has open their doors on May 2019. Everything is brand new, stylish, comfortable. The food is top-notch. The chef is trying new plates and as far as we had tried them, he's doing an excellent job! The rooms are comfy, spacious, cosy... Upstairs, at the roof top, the views are amazing.
And its location is ideal!
I'm sure you will enjoy being here.

Absolutely exquisite place to stay. The room was done so tastefully in Asian and Moroccan furnishings. The owners / hosts were very friendly and helpful. My only remark is the the view of Alhambra you really need to be out the balcony for and it it largely covered with Cypress, but it is beautiful none the less - perhaps just not what I was expecting for the price of the room. I would definitely be back.
9 Hotel Casa 1800 Granada

We stayed at 1800 Hotel Granada for 2 nights. The hotel was pretty easy to find, and although it is a little tucked away from tourist central, it was only about a 5 min walk to the closest square. Staff were friendly and attentive, and offered restaurant suggestions upon our request. The hotel itself is nicely decorated, and charming in a quaint sort of way. There’s a nice courtyard in the hotel where breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea are served daily. We didn’t choose to partake in either option (the food didn’t look the most aesthetically pleasing), but the other hotel guests seemed to love the afternoon tea! We booked a suite, and though the room was spacious and clean, there are decor elements that perhaps might be too dated for some guests (myself included). For instance, the bed frame is a bit dated, and the mattress itself was a little bit stiff. Overall, it was a completely satisfactory stay, and probably one of the nicer boutique options in Granada.
10 Hotel Casa Morisca - Granada

My husband and I spent two nights at Hotel Casa Morisca in Granada during a weeklong trip through Spain. The hotel was perfectly situated at the foot of the Alhambra and a stone's throw from City Center. Beyond it's ideal location, the room was cozy, warm and clean with beautiful views of the Alhambra and surrounding rooftops. Victor, the concierge, was very helpful in determining nearby tapas spots. Great stay! Would highly recommend to fellow travelers.
11 Rosa de Comares B&B

If you want to make the most out of your time in this beautiful city, this little cosy place in the Morrish quarter of Granada is a must. However, what I liked the most was how friendly, professional and welcoming every member of staff was, mostly María, the receptionist, who was always willing to help and gave us really useful advice to explore this gorgeous city in Southern Spain. Great job, María!!!

14 Hotel santa isabel la real

One of my favorite hotels in Spain. Our experience in Granada was exceptional due to the care and service provided by this hotel. They helped us book tickets to Alhambra and accommodated our entire family. There is no better place to stay. I wish we could return every year.

Was lucky enough to get a last minute reservation at this beaute of a hotel/pension. Outstanding service, amazing view from our room, in the center of it all. Thank you Damian for your wonderful hospitality.
16 Shine Albayzín

Absolutely fantastic! Loved this hotel. Though it's officially rated as a 3-star, I liked it more than some of the 4 stars in Madrid and Seville. The location is perfect. It's situated at the end of the historic and charming Albaysin neighborhood with views of the Alhambra and within a 5 minute walk to the city center. Best of all worlds. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel, would stay here again.
17 Carmen de los Chapiteles

Stunning setting for the wedding we were attending. Access was tricky, and plenty of stairs, so older visitors be aware, same for prams, but just incredible views of the Alhambra, so well worth it. Great food too.
18 Hotel con encanto Granada | Arabeluj Web Oficial |

Really enjoyed the view, but the food is sooo bad and expensive. Ice cold red wine, pork ribs from the microwave and assorted cheese and hams which mean 1 kind of cheese and 1 kind of ham. But the view is nice tough.
19 Palacio De Mariana Pineda

The arrival was a little awkward because we had a car. The car has to be parked at a public garage, for which we were partially reimbursed, and then we had to taxi to the hotel. Annoying, but worth it for the location, for the quality and charm of the room, and for the fascinating traditional architecture. Good breakfast.
20 Casa de la Catedral

One of the best locations I have ever had. Right across from a stunning cathedral and beautiful square. Our room was massive! Good restaurant right beside the hotel, which you can get a discount through the hotel.
I try to keep this list very up to date. It was last edited in December 2025. You can help me make this page better, for example by letting me know of a hipster hotel that should be on the list. Click here to get in touch. Thanks!
