Reviews from visitors:
Really enjoyed the view, but the food is sooo bad and expensive. Ice cold red wine, pork ribs from the microwave and assorted cheese and hams which mean 1 kind of cheese and 1 kind of ham. But the view is nice tough.
Beautiful view from the bar/terras. Its walking distance (15 min from Alhambra) which is great. The room is very small and a bit outdated which isnt a big problem when staying for a night or two- since it was very clean. The food however is very overpriced, red wine was ice cold (I cant imagine thats a lack of knowledge... that must be a lack of caring). Though when ur very lazy after a long day of walking- you will survive on that food (please dont order a meal- its all microwaved). Its also a bit sad there seems to be one staff member doing the bar, ‘cooking’ and entrance. Some small adjustments to the service would make much difference. The view is amazing.
Had a bad personal experience,
Needed some first aid stuff like badges and alcohol to clean a small wound, i was surprised they didn’t have any at the hotel.
Also the lights went down at night and we had to use phone lights to use the bathroom etc..
I expect the minimum from a hotel but they didnt have that unfortunately
Spectacular view, but the amenities were severely lacking. Dinner was from a microwave, breakfast was toast and coffee. We checked out a day early. Don't be hypnotized by the view.
The hotel is situated above Granada just around the hill from the Alhambra palace affording a fantastic view of the city. The Alhambra, whilst not visible from the hotel is a 10-15 minute walk away. The breakfast is self service and quite limited however the dining area offers the same stunning view. Some of the rooms have terraces and it is a great place to watch the sun go down with a beer. The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is because of the noise in the room - the corridors and doors make quite a racket and we didn't get a decent night's sleep unfortunately. Perhaps it was just that room - we would visit again though as the rest of the experience overcame that.
