The arrival was a little awkward because we had a car. The car has to be parked at a public garage, for which we were partially reimbursed, and then we had to taxi to the hotel. Annoying, but worth it for the location, for the quality and charm of the room, and for the fascinating traditional architecture. Good breakfast.
Excellent location - Great Staff - Hotel has a nice Character to it.
We were received very warmly by the staff - As we don't drink wine they offered us a basket of delicious fruits. We had a nice view of Alhumbra but at the cost of late noise as the room was just over the roads that is frequently used. Can't help that, but in case you are looking for a Quiet room you may want to ask for a room on the inside of the hotel. Our Checkout experience was just as pleasant.
We would gladly stay here again. The rooms were nice, spacious, in the heart of the city and within 5-10 mins of most attractions/restaurants. They were very accomodating for kids as well. It was one of 2 hotels suggested by the New York Times if you're going to visit the Alhambra (the other is in the Alhambra itself, but a bit more dated and further from the city center). We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Thanks!
We had a wonderful stay at Palacio Mariana Pineda Hotel. Its location was excellent. We were just a short walk away from La Alhambra and in the heart of the restaurants and markets of Granada. The staff was kind and helped us with any question we had. The room was clean and very quaint and the breakfast was delicious! I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Granada.
