Everything about this place is just wonderful
First time staying here with our little family
And we can’t wait to come back! The pool facilities are amazing! The Thai restaurant down stairs food is to die for! The ladies at reception are wonderful. The ladies working in the kiosk by the pool are lovely, the food is so cheap and actually tastes really good! The location is wonderful and central also! The room was not as modern as other hotels but is super clean and well kept! We will definitely always be staying here from now on! Loved every minute of it
Smelt beautiful everywhere else except our room. I called reception to report the room smelt like smoke and they promised to send housekeeping to spray the room. Not sure if we missed them as we went out but no-one came after that either. The unit didn't feel clean even though it was tidy. Other than that, the facilities are really great for all ages = variety of pool choices, gym, spa, bbq and awesome location close to Surfers, trams, shops, Thai restaurant directly below. Staff were friendly and courteous.
Visited Jan 2021. 1 bedroom suite was comfortable with all the necessary amenities, although getting a tad dated. It had a lounge area with opening to a balcony and nice views. The pool area was nice although it was crowded with limited seating.
It is well located, being just north of the central restaurant and shopping area at Cavill Ave / mall, just a few minutes walk away.
I had read a few dicey reviews on this place before booking about the age and cleanliness of the hotel (so I did request a newly renovated room), but booked anyway because the kids pools looked so nice for our son. I was therefore pleasantly surprised by our apartment upon checkin - it was lovely and modern and very clean. We booked a 2bed 2bath ocean view (room 3504) and it had an amazing view of the ocean and inshore waterways. The staff were lovely and check in was a breeze, and they let us use an extra car park for my mother in law who stayed with us a few nights. The Thai restaurant was delicious, we had egg and bacon rolls and some snacks at the pool kiosk and the ladies there were lovely and helpful. Best of all the pool area was indeed amazing, and my son absolutely loved the slide and the pirate ship. The hotel far exceeding my expectations.
Our room 2503 was a complete disappointment.
It had a horrible smell as did the foyer.
The sofas smelt like they had never been cleaned.
No TV in the main bedroom??
TV in the lounge was so small, we had to move the lounge closer to it, to see it!
Based on this apartment, we will never stay here again.
A complete disappointment
