Reply to Vibe staff - It wasn't a matter of 'locating the gym' - There was no gym open or available at the time of my stay. As per your own staff members after asking about it. Also, although this was a while ago, construction was happening in rooms of the building and we weren't informed of this until after we had checked in.
Original review: No gym when it was advertised there was one. Rooms could be cleaner.
I stayed at this hotel and there was an issue at some point when I returned home I asked for the front office manager to give me a call and I did not get that call.
I rang a second time asking to speak to management and was told they were busy and they would return my call again no call.
I thought I would try a third time, again
Management couldn't really give a stuff.
The issue was an overcharge on my bill which could have been easily fixed on checkout but they asked me to contact management on checkout when I got home.
So my suggestion is simply don't stay.
And when management actually see this post please don't bother contacting me you had chance three times
The venue is so clean, pleasant, stylish and buzzing with happy vibes. The pool is crystal clear with a glorious view of the riverside. The bedding is of luxurious quality. Special mention for the staff house cleaning young man who made our beds so beautifully that it was without fault or wrinkle and a dream to sleep on. Then the food, OML just perfectly made although I would of liked more :) I would have to say though - "The Island" has the best buffet breakfast I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy.....
Found The Vibe Hotel to be a lovely place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Stayed in a basic room. It was clean and the bed was comfy. Just a short walk into the centre of surfers paradise. I would definitely come back again.
The staff were very lovey and accommodating. I had wanted a different room to the one I had booked but it was sold out. I mentioned this to the lady who checked us in and she found us the room which we had wanted initially. The manager at the concierge desk was lovely. The room was lovely with large glass windows viewing the ocean; however they were very dirty. It was also not made known to us that housekeeping would not clean your room if you did not request it.
