Recommend the food, it is cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and a good variety of dishes including great specials. All the staff are kind and friendly. Definitely worth trying, we've enjoyed many meals there while on vacation at the Beach House. My favourite is the crispy skin salmon and it us prepared to perfection with a variety if accompanying salads and vegetables always includes some exotic mix, highly recommended. Enjoy
Could not be more impressed! We work up the road and walk down every Thursday for steak day. The chefs here are absolutely amazing and accommodating. The staff are great too, always with a smile and a warm welcome.
My friend and I stayed here on a Friday night as we were attending an event close at The Coolongatta Hotel. It was the perfect location, and a very good price. It was quiet after 12AM, staff were nice and bathroom was very clean. There was even an air con in our twin shared bedroom when the website said there would only be a fan. Very pleased!
As a reular visitor to this place I used to think it was great. Up until very recently.
According to the current staff there The long time manager was fired by the owner for some reason and THE WHOLE STAFF quit and walked away with them. And I mean everyone, from the chefs to all the bar staff.
Now the food is sub par at best. The young guy doing the cooking is inexperienced and way out of his depth and not a chef. You'll be lucky if they have what you ordered on the menu.
The new bar staff don't seem to give a toss. Usually they are nowhere to be found. During my last meal I will ever eat there I witnessed several people waiting 10 minutes at least for service at an unmanned open bar.
I won't be going back there.
