Literally across the road from the beach front. Could not get any better than that. Apartment was great for a family of 3. Had all the amenities we needed and perfect walking distance to the surf club and shops.
Staff were lovely. And the place was definitely liveable for a night or two, however they should probably take the word “luxury” out of their name. Bed wasn’t great. Bathroom was clean, but shower was not. Building seemed to be very slightly shaking somewhat consistently. Couches need to be steam cleaned. Upstairs rooms are accessed via sliding glass doors which mean it’s impossible to have the curtains open and ensure privacy. Too expensive for what it was.
I am so furious. I just booked this apartment through Agoda - thinking I was getting a pretty good deal. At the end of the booking once everything was confirmed - I find out that there is a $95 cleaning fee on top of the room charge for the night. It wasn't mentioned anywhere in the listing - just popped up after the booking was confirmed. So deceptive and I would almost say fraudulent. They should not be able to advertise a price for a night, then tack on a "small print" cleaning fee at the end. This is very misleading and not ok. I'm trying to cancel - but am told I will be charged a cancellation fee .... not happy at all.
I agree the location is perfect, it's not Luxury though, what's in a name?
Reception staff were extremely pleasant.
It's a nice clean apartment and it has everything to make a basic breakfast, good shower room, clean and tidy, apparently room 8 is to be avoided it's under the stairs and the entrance is in the car park.
Nice place to meet relatives from Adelaide... Clean and helpful facilities... AoK
