This is a great place for a good old fashion Irish meal. The staff are friendly and very polite. It's very clean with a fantastic atmosphere. Great for anyone from a couple to a family and friends get together. I will be back soon 5 stars all the way
What a lovely place to have a delicious meal. Not only was the food enjoyable the service was fantastic. Very helpful,polite and happy.
The place was clean as were the restrooms.
Went for weekend stay as solo traveller. The Darcy Arms was value for money, clean, comfortable and well located close to beach, transport, supermarket and food shops. It had a clean little pool to cool off and nice outdoor bar for a drink. The bed was a bit too hard for me but it had ac, ensuite with large shower, fridge, tv and toilet. Its dated decor but importantly very clean so it was great for a weekend away on a budget.
Good food, service ok, live music while we were there. Thank you for dinner. Recommend the Lamb Shank
Do not stay here! Had the worst experience of my life. The management is unavailable after hours. They have under age teens running around. No security personnel on site which is illegal by law at a liquor licenced hotel. There is a abandoned establishment across the road which they all congronate at and wait for unsuspecting victims such as myself to go out and have a cigarette which I payed $150 for the night at the motel.
I'll never come back here.
Oh and don't bother to ring surfers paradise police station because they will tell you they are to busy with other matters.
