The place doesn't have back up electricity and while I was there the power was lost twice.
day time was ok , but when it happened in the night there was no staff to even talk to , and that was very disturbing , specially since i was with kids
the management of the place is also , very very uncordial....
So my opinion is , be careful about selecting this place!
Nice place
The staff and manager at Fort Square Villas were amazing, they couldn't do enough for you - any time of day. They didn't have any printed maps so they drew us the sweetest little maps of the area and listed out nice restaurants to try nearby, very sweet, personalized service. To be honest the rooms were slightly smaller than we imagined from the pictures, but they were very clean. The location of the villas is extremely convenient to walk around Galle Fort area and actually close enough for trips to Mirissa, Weligama Bay etc.

Terrible experience I had with this place. It was so bad to the extent that while I had non refundable booking there I had to find another hotel.
This is only 3 rooms house and the double room they advertise does not have windows except those overlooking the garden and breakfast area. There is no privacy in this place. You could hear what people in the reception area were discussing.
Staff do not speak English except for the manager Samitha who was extremely rude and she was the one to turn me off completely and made me look for another accommodation.
This place is not worth the rates they are advertising. No breakfast, no service, no wardrobe in the room (only cupboard), no privacy.
Once you book with them, you are on your own and good luck to you as they will try rip you off as you are a foreigner.
I ended up paying as much in a different hotel with professional service and great breakfast. Seriously do not recommend this place. It is only nice photos for which they used extra lighting in photoshop.
