Avoid this hotel.
The welcoming by the staff was great and we thought we were going to have a pleasant stay in Galle. Unfortunately that was not the case.
The owner would enter our room when we had left for the day - when we asked him about this he became angry and aggressive - even to the point of scaring his own staff. He said he entered to turn off the AC which we said is fine and we will make sure it is always off when we leave. But he continued to enter after and turn off all switches - even the ones we were using to charge my phone and opened all windows so there would be a ton of mosquitoes in the room upon our return. This is a huge invasion of privacy and completely unnecessary.
There is no mosquito net provided.
Also there are quite a lot of cockroaches that you can see with the pictures I have provided.
Really expected more for the price we payed. And at the very least a professional owner.
We booked 3 nights and left after the second night as we had had enough.
Exceptional location. Warm service. The hotel is charming, quaint, with an infectiously positive energy.
Great stay at this place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was top notch. If you are staying in Galle I would highly reccomend this place. 5 stars
The place is amazing all super clean the staff very helpful and friendly, the design despite being simple is amazing and you sleep very well in addition to the breakfast that is very good, it is inside the forte so it is close to restaurants and shops
