The hotel is very beautiful. There is parking. The breakfasts are delicious here. There is a terrace with a bar and an excellent view. Hotel employees adhere to all safety standards. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I recommend it to everyone - you will not regret it.
A great place in a central, yet not so busy area of Funchal. Renovated, cozy flair, clean and spacious. Super friendly owner Sergio is replying really fast, super friendly, helpful and a great source for information around Funchal.
Close to the Madeira Optics museum, which is also run by Sergio and a great place to learn about everything that has an optical lens.
Just down the street is the city center, with a leisure 5 minute stroll to the marina.

Nice hotel with super friendly staff. The rooms are big and nice, but a little bit dated. We used the pool down at the connected sister hotel which was great. There’s a construction site next to the hotels which is a bit disturbing but not too bad.
The breakfast was nice and the hotel restaurant serves decent lunch sandwiches. But choose a different place for your dinner - it really wasn’t any good. There are two Michelin guide restaurants literally next door, go for one of them instead.
We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. And I can only say good things about this hotel. If you’re planning to visit Madeira, I’d highly recommend to stay close to Funchal. This hotel has a very good location. There are plenty of restaurants and small supermarket. The town of Funchal can be reach by walk from the hotel ~ 10 minutes.
