Lovely estate on top of the city of Funchal with well maintained gardens with old trees and lots of flowers. The room was big and airy, well maintained and clean, with a big bathroom and views of the garden.
Breakfast was wonderful with fresh orange juice, fresh bread and croissants, homemade jams, cheese cold meats and ricotta. We also had scrambled eggs and a big bowl of porridge. Would recommend this place to anyone

A great place in a central, yet not so busy area of Funchal. Renovated, cozy flair, clean and spacious. Super friendly owner Sergio is replying really fast, super friendly, helpful and a great source for information around Funchal.
Close to the Madeira Optics museum, which is also run by Sergio and a great place to learn about everything that has an optical lens.
Just down the street is the city center, with a leisure 5 minute stroll to the marina.

Just a wonderful hotel in the city center of Funchal. Perfect location, beautiful, stylish rooms, a dream of a shower and the nicest staff. Also, incredibly tasty breakfast. Loved the bday card I received from the gentleman at reception! We
Friendly and very quiet hotel on a calm, residential street. The garden is beautifully kept and the rooms are spacious. There's a indoor parking garage for guests just under the hotel which comes really handy. Walking down to the old town takes about 10 mins, but remember that you have to take a steep walk up again.
The hotel has no restaurant and I wouldn't recommend the €12 breakfast. Other than the home made juices/smoothies, the selection is quite sad. Light sleepers might suffer from thin walls and doors.
Professional staff, clean and hygienic place in desperate times of Covid19. Highly recommended (especially if you want quite place in the heart of Funchal with seaview and sneak peak to Madeira harbour) ♥️
