Very nice place
Just lovely. Staff so friendly and helpful .Room absolutely beautiful , spotlessly clean . Great pool . Gorgeous breakfast out on the terrace , nothing too much bother for the staff. Can not fault it in any way shape or form.
Posh hilltop Hotel with great staff caring for everything
The hotel was very nice, we had a room at the end by a small pond with ducks. One thing was that the roosters would sometimes be noisy, however this could be countered by closing the balcony door. We also had a beautiful view of the island from the room. The swimming pool was small but well maintained. The selection for breakfast was wide ranged but always the same each day. Staff were very helpful in the hotel. However one member of staff was particularly fantastic; one of the receptionists named Sofia was extremely kind and sweet to us during our stay. She went the extra mile to ensure we could find fun things to do on the island, her knowledge on the island is fantastic. Her charming and sweet personality made us feel welcome and perfected our stay.
Very, very good hotel/quinta! Amazing service. Nice pool. Rooms very complete with beautiful bathroom. Enough free parkingspace. Located in the center of Funchal in a green surrounding, a botanical garden. Very rare in a big city. Tip: rent a car or scooter or motorbike. It Will get you around the eiland. To walk to the center is not an easy thing to do. The hotel has a shuttle service but is almost the same price as a rental car. The hotel deserves a 10!
