We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. And I can only say good things about this hotel. If you’re planning to visit Madeira, I’d highly recommend to stay close to Funchal. This hotel has a very good location. There are plenty of restaurants and small supermarket. The town of Funchal can be reach by walk from the hotel ~ 10 minutes.
The services of this hotel is incredibly excellent! All staffs are very polite and friendly.
Excellent breakfast. They offer a huge variety/ option.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who loves modern hotel and excellent services. I would always come back!

That's great hotel close to Funchal heart. Location is great - part of an old town. Staff, food, rooms and last but not least views are amazing. The area of hotel is a first class. I trully recommend this hotel to everyone, who is visiting Madeira.

Beautiful classic design with high standard both through out the hotel and in the rooms.
Several menus: the sky bar restaurant is unique experience. Room service also in high quality and high standard.
Rich breakfast with great variety, accommodating and friendly staff.
Pillow menu is a great ( needed) service.
Great facilities, large lobby, good gym and several pools.
Note Sauna(with in Spa) is extra cost.
There are some small things that can be improved in the room for example lack of hooks and bathroom ventilation. But overall great stay.
Lovely hotel. Building work nearby but not a nuisance at all unless you’re very precious like some of the reviewers below. Pool is huge and sky bar with infinity pool is great. Great staff as well. Would definitely come back. Also a bridge across the road to an outdoor bar garden with a big screen for sports
If you like fish then it's for you. A magnificent hotel.
But there's no heart beat.
Too big for me very sanitized.
