Lovely old fashioned hotel with a nice pool and within walking distance (not for elderly though) of old Funchal, the sea and many great restaurants.

We've used this hotel before as it is in a pleasant location. The staff are friendly and its conveniently situated to walk into Funchal for restaurants in the harbour and Old Town. Only stayed one night this time, before exchanging to the Savoy where we have a time share, but would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel & really friendly & helpful staff. Excellent service.
