A very nice hotel! Clean, well positioned (beach, natural swimming pools, shopping centre) with underground parking and good food. We will definitely book it again.
Good location, relaxing and quiet. Breakfast could be better quality.
Good
- Excellent value / price relationship. Wi-Fi stable and fast. Private parking (for 5€ day fee). Amazing view of the sea.
Bad
- The fact that the hotel is really 3 separates buildings makes it a bit uncomfortable. You must cross a public street to go to restaurant (to have breakfast), pool and gym. Just the people staying in C building could enjoy all the amenities in one place. Really awkward. There is not a beach close (the nearest is a 20 min walking distance)
Excellent hotel. Coping with the Covid 19 pandemic really well. Great views from the pool area. Only thing that could be improved is the service around the pool during the day, you had to go to the bar lost of the time to order. That would have made it 5 stars.
I had a fantastic 2 weeks at this hotel (only booked for 1 but decided to stay on for an extra and the staff let me remain in the same room) it's a clean friendly place with excellent staff who speak various European languages but I done the basic greetings in Portuguese out of respect, the location is near to Funchal with the bus running every 30 mins into the city and taking 15 mins there are plenty of local restaurants nearby ,also a beach and lido nearby, the hotel has an excellent pool area overlooking the sea as does the excellent restaurant. I would recommend this hotel and a holiday in Madeira especially under the covid-19 situation as it's one the safest destinations in the world, you are tested upon arrival for free and they then text the result to you either on the safe Madeira app or directly to you all they ask is you stay in your room until the result is messaged to you .
