Very comfy hotel with only 5 rooms. There is a shared living room downstairs with TV and wine & liquor available. The rooms were spacious and individually furnished. We had breakfast (available from 8:20 on) served on the patio with its beautiful view over Funchal. Excellent home-made marmelades, freshly pressed orange juice, fruits and rolls were served. Cereals, milk, tee and coffee were also available.
Very lovely place to stay a night, a week or longer. The rooms are fairly furnished, but the restrooms are not state-of-the-art in a classical meaning, not a big problem.
The breakfast ist delicious, with fresh orange juice, milk, tea and coffee, different bread and buns, some cold cuts, homemade jam, cereals, and fresh fruits. The property offers a beautiful, well-kept garden with many flowers, a stunning view on Funchal, and a parking space for your rental car.
You'll need approximately 30 minutes by foot to Funchal, but a bus stop is just a few steps away. The hostess will take care of an airport transfer, if you like.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
