its was standard I believe they are upgrading the hotel so its closed for a while am sure that will improve it a bit
Was hopeing to stay again but the hotel was closed not sure when it will be open but il keep a watch out as it was a good hotel nice breakfast they served friendly staff so at the moment having to choose other hotels
Abysmal is the word. Paid £375 for 2 nights b&b at New Year 2019. Vegetarians be aware, they cook all food together with meat and fish, they don't respect your beliefs. Ran out of food at breakfast. Shower screen hanging loose at bottom. Emailed to complain twice, ignored both times. Avoid this place.
I would never stay here again
Would not recommend. It smells very sweaty. Sea view room is just a view of the roof. Double room is tiny box room. decor dirty and tired. furniture shabby old and smells of sweat and you cant drink in the bar as the smell puts you off. Had to sit in bar with coats on as the aircon was on instead of the heating.
Just had a midweek break at St Chads Hotel. Nice homely hotel, not the Ritz but you definitely get what you pay for. Staff all went out their way to see everyone was looked after. Food was good and plentiful. Varied Entertainment which included Singers every night and Karaoke on the Thursday with Dave. We will definitely return, we found that Theresa and Dave made a good team, and made us all very welcome in the bar. All the Staff are a real credit to this hotel, great value and a great location too. Basic and does what it says on the tin.
