I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to stay!
Me and my partner stayed here in a private room a week prior to the city going on lockdown. Not only did Casa Gracia respond so well to concerns about covid but it was genuinely one of the nicest venues I've stayed in. The room was incredibly well priced for our short stay in the heart of the city. You don't feel like you are staying in a hostel at all. It was a great atmosphere with a fantastic bar, friendly staff with tonnes of recommendations on where to go and great services. We made some incredible friends who stayed here too.
Great atmosphere, staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and I was made to feel very at home. Had a shared room - was very clean and comfortable with clean bathroom. Stayed for 18 days during Covid, the staff made sure it was safe although that meant some areas were not accessible. Genuinely a lovely experience, if I'm in Barcelona again I will stay there and I recommend anyone travelling through should aswell.
We had to cancel our stay due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Casa Gracia was very helpful and understanding of the circonstances and granted us the cancellation. We expect to book another stay at Casa Gracia whenever we can go back to Barcelona.
Hostel does not pay back money in case of Corona related no-show.
The place is amazing, a bit confusing on the entrance 'cause the host seem to always be busy with something else, same goes wity the waiters. If you can, enjoy the visit to the underground floor.
