Basically a nice vacation spot with a nice beach, a nice town center and many small shops and restaurants. If only it weren't for the mosquitoes ... You should bring a large bottle of Autan or Anti-Brumm with you. On the main roads there is sometimes a lot of traffic, cyclists are allowed to drive on the footpath, because it can be a bit narrow. If you like digital detox, this is the right place for you, the cell phone network (Telekom and Vodafone) is really bad. On the beach you are partly in the Danish network because the German network is so weak ...
The good thing about Zingst is the location for trips on the Darß, the selection of restaurants and the beach.
The place itself is not worth seeing and you do not want to stay there long. The whole place is built to excess with holiday homes and has no flair at all. What the local building authority approved here is incomprehensible.

But why are the lifeguard towers along the entire beach in the summer with many bathers NOT COMPLETELY staffed?
Hard to believe, especially with the many families with children!
Many shops and restaurants in the center. Even those who do not know their way around will not get lost.
