One of the most incredible experiences we’ve had. The place is just mind blowing: marvelous views, amazing staff, very intimate atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Awesome! Amazing view on the mountains, good food, very good breakfast and dinner. If you wanna fully experience the atmosphere, you need to stay at the hotel overnight and have a great chance to enjoy it with no crowds! Another advantage is - you can enjoy the view just from your room, and not outside when it’s quite freezing.
Currently there is some construction works on site (August 2020), but soundproofing is fine. Both sunrise and sunset were magnificent (depending on weather). Very friendly staff! Would definitely come back again! Highly recommended!
The views are of course fantastic, but you don’t have to stay in the hotel to enjoy that. The hotel
itself is mediocre and the food was fine, but I’d definitely prefer some other options in Zermatt.
I can't believe this place is a 3 star. I'd give it a 4 star with a 5 star for service. The location / setting is amazing but watch for altitude sickness. The food was very good (not gourmet, but very hearty, delicious and generous) and rooms spacious with amazing views. We have stayed in some amazing hotels and this one, while maybe not luxurious, is bucketlist worthty. Ski right out the door.... Just one little nit was the pillows were very lumpy and awful. If I was coming to Zermatt just once to see the Matterhorn, there would be no other option. Excellent!
