Only one person for the reception and service. The room is smaller than shown in photos. The private bathroom is very tiny with terribly dim light and everywhere is dusty in the room. Yeah. And they call that place a "Hotel". Ridiculous. Embarrasing. And, do not eat ant meal in this place. There is no quality. 1 star is for their effort and the view of mountains.

I visited this place two years ago and I was very nice welcomed and enjoyed my stay. We choose this place for a vocation this year. We have traveled 7 hours to Zakopane. But this year it was terrible. I was treated like a machine for make money. We booked 6 nights for over 2250 PLN. We have paid deposit in advance to book the room. The reception had agreed that we pay a full balance the next day. We we planned to exchange the currency. I was attacked and threaten if I do not pay full amount I will have to leave by 11.00am. It was terrible. My deposit money had covered at least 2 nights stay so I could not understand why I had to be so rushed and pushed to the wall. The owner was so rude to me that I can not describe. The receptionist asked me if I can have enough money on my credit card to pay that was insulting. We did not want to pay by credit card only cash. Although, we have paid the remaining balance on the next day but the atmosphere destroyed all our stay. We are in Europe 6 weeks and travel all over the Europe. We never been treated like that. Overall, I have to admit that the room was keeping very clean, towels clean, but not only a great room making people happy. We came to enjoy our vocation and we were planning to visit this place every second year. Unfortunately after what happened to us we will have to find a new nice place in Zakopane to stay. Any recommendation welcome.
Beautiful architecture and amazing surroundings. But this is where pro reasons stop.
Cons are:
-Weak breakfast (like 1lemon per breakfast for all quests for example).Not very much to choose.
-Small rooms and you can hear every step and voice, because building is made of wood. (just try to enjoy peaceful evening there)
-On forth day we had to ask personnel to bring us toilet paper and take out trash. (trash bins smaller than my cat...or hamster)
On the minus side - I found it really inconvenient that the checking out is only until 6pm. We were trying to set the late check in but it was refused. My boyfriend was landing in Krakow airport late at night and instead of going to zakopane with him I had to make my trip there earlier on a train in order to get keys.
Because of the nature of the building, you could hear other people in other rooms.
On plus side - great location - walkable to the centre, really close to Nosal skiing centre. Place is really beautiful. It was very warm in the room (even tho it was winter). The breakfast was really good. It was a buffet style plus the "host" was preparing a hot dishes individually - like scrubble eggs, omlets, pancakes and polish "racuchy" which I would highly recommend. Although I'm warning that the gentleman had a limited understanding of English so try to learn a bit of polish! There was tea, coffee and water available for guests.
The staff - girl at the reception and the gentleman who host was really friendly and nice.
We really enjoyed the stay.
