Thank you for hosting my weekend getaway. Elena was our go to for all questions related to Zadar. Super knowledgeable, fast, and lovely to speak with.
Mateo was our host at breakfast in the most lovely hidden garden spot in all of Zadar, and yet so close to everything in the Old Town.
Our room was in the annex across the street from the main building. Traditional building, super high ceiling, with nice small balcony (for smoking as I did not permit it in the room). The colors were soothing and very elegant.
Two small hiccups. First, the closet space is sized for very tall people. I had to stretch to hang up dresses and then it did not have enough space to hang straight due to shelving. Second, was the semi-open shower. The drain was very slow and I did not realize until practically half the bathroom floor was wet.
All was taken care of promptly including finding my missing linen shirt (gift from Mom).
Lovely rooms, very well designed and decorated. Has 3 rooms: gold, silver and bronze. Host is very kind and friendly. Very comfortable beds, good AC and free mini bar. Great location in old town. Almost everything is walking distance. Supermarket just beneath.
Rooms are on second floor, no elevator.
Public parking nearby for 12kn/hour (summer price, 8am-10pm). But you can try to find elsewhere for less or in the only free parking area but not easy to find a spot.
It wasn't cheap, but this probably depends on season and time of booking.
It was our best hotel experience in our trip in Croatia! Would definitely try to book here if we come back to Zadar.
Great hotel in a beautiful location. Situated right in the historic center of Zadar, very near to the port, it is a small hotel with nice, comfortable rooms.
Everything was great, I cannot speak for dinner and lunch as I dined outside, breakfast is excellent.

Great location you park right out front, really friendly staff and helpful, rooms are amazing with the beautiful stair case giving you that heritage feel, breakfast is great with a le carte, so everything is super fresh!!!
The spa is beautiful really clean and well maintained, if you wish to stay in Zadar I highly recommend visiting this hotel you won’t go wrong!

Totally WOW! We were going to be staying in a tent then a sudden storm came and ripped the tent so we ended up here. Total luxury, like staying in a 5 star hotel. Our host was totally incredible - she actually arranged for our tent to be repaired in hours. Now that really is 5 star service!
This was our first visit to Croatia, and based on our experience I can safely confirm we are going to be back here. We picked Zadar because we wanted a small town close to sea. And we picked Villa Zadar, because it had a good rating, located close to sea and had swimming pool. Location wise it was a win: we had a shop in a close vicinity, there is a bus stop in 10 minutes walk that will take you to center of Zadar for just a Euro and the sea was also like ten minutes walk. We used to be sceptical about pictures of apartments, but here apartments were the same as i seemed: clean, comfortable and had everything we need to have enjoyable stay. We've been with our daughter, so kitchen with all kitchen stuff helped to cook the food we would like, dish-washing machine and washing machines offloaded my wife from housing routine, and nice additions like hot-sandwich maker and extra charger were a brownie points to already great experience. Host was all the time ready to help, and the check-in/check-out were super smooth. Keep up the good job and hope to see you again in the future!
Loved Villa Vanilla we spent 2 weeks there and the 2 bedroom villa/ appartment was beautiful. Spotless cleaned every day to a very high standard by the lovely Diane. Always happy going about her work . Vesna the Owner was so nice & friendly and always took time to chat, ordered taxis for us & offered lifts to Zadar old town when we were going out . It was so relaxing sitting by the pool no noise just nature we met the Tortoise's . They walk freely around the lovely garden . Our Appartment had 3 balconys . Fantastic if you just want to chill and watch the world go by . We had a sea view which was lovely . Great place to stay . Maybe a vending machine for drinks crisps etc when at the pool .
It was overall a great experience and the apartments and hotel rooms are very stylish and fit good. The pool is very refreshing and at nights the underwater lights are on which also makes a awesome night experience. Next time I visit Croatia I will definitely go here again
Exceptional! Beatiful interior design, clean and every detail is acording to entire apartment. Our host was very polite and friendly. Felt like home! Location couldn't be more closer to Old Town centre and we didn't hear any noises from outside. The place to stay when in Zadar!
I was here at Covid 19, when the boarders were opened. So almost no guests. Reception staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms are a little bit small (4 persons), but clean and good bed. Good price
Amazing. Even though not a fancy, 5-star hotel, it is built literally on the beach, with the sea waves under your balkony. Sunsets & moonsets are breathtaking. Has its own small pool, in case you live the view, but not the salty water. Highly recommended!
Oh what can I say, but what a great hostel... Yes it is simple but I was made to feel apart of the family from the moment I walked in. Was only there for 3 nights but could have easily stayed longer if I was able. Thank you...big love xxx #no tears
Very Nice people. They waited for us for dinner late in the evening as we arrived very late .Food was generous as well as breakfast. Comfortable traditional room. Very good price for quality.
Beautiful place, very cosy, clean and stylish, it feels, that everything done with love. An appartement has a perfect location, just in the heart of the Old City. And also very friendly host, she even picked us up near the parking, so we didn't get lost. Totally recommended! it feels like home here :)
They celebrated their wedding anniversary here twice and haven't found anything better yet. Everything is fine! Up to a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne, which the hostess found and presented us, along with handmade chocolate. When we will rest nearby, we will definitely come again.
We stayed here only for a night but wished we had stayed longer. The set up was great and super enjoyable. The views were insane. The biggest downside to note was that the AC didn’t work as well upstairs as it did downstairs so definitely get the upstairs AC running ahead of time if you plan to have people sleep upstairs.
