Of all the places to be in Vung Tàu, this is #1! Go up to the rooftop bar & enjoy stunning views of the sunset & street action from the best, and long overdue, vantage point on the coast. Cosmopolitan atmosphere with reasonable pricing, this is a wonderful location!
One year later... I was last at Fusion in June 2020, needless to say the reason was that the bar management changed & the prices of beer doubled & the service was less than adequate. Also this new building is quickly beginning to have that worn down look...the walls/ floors are not clean as you would expect for a pricey place. It is unfortunate that this location has lost its original appeal. The only reason for going here would be to show a visitor the nice view.
An excellent hotel and a must stay if you are in Vung Tau. The best view on the rooftop for both sunrise and sunset. Amazing rooftop bar with swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable with one of the the best views, especially the sea facing rooms. The biggest high light is the spa treatments which are included in the rooms and if you would prefer more treatments they run some amazing specials. Thank you to the General Manager Clay which runs a super cool team from the checking experience, housekeeping, Restaurant staff, the girl that works on the rooftop bar (sorry forgot her name) excellent customer service and quality of drinks. I will definitely come back & recommend this place as a must stay & visit if you ever in Vung Tau
I had been lived in the corner apartment room this hotel for the last 6 months of I had lived in this city for 3years as expats. As you see in another comments, I would say that all of the compliment comments are true. On the other hands, there are some negative comments about this hotel and I agree that such those experiences in the holiday are sometimes endurable for all hotel guests.
However, I could see that hotel managements are always monitoring all comments contributed by the guests on several web sights and most all of things which pointed out are always keep improving day by day, little by little both on facilities and services. That was I impressed the most. I can say the hotel virtually added one more star whilst I lived 6 months. That's why I wish I will be back this hotel someday in the future. I can image easily that my next visit will be much more better experience.
I would add a supplementary comment on all other guests review that bakery and deserts are super fantastic quality. I do not know why no one say this. I needed to keep my body shape but every morning they attracted me and sometimes I could not withstand. Body weight has gained a bit as a result. hihihi.
Excellent hotel, up to western standards for a good price. Great service, great breakfast (with amazing views) , great (free) 30 minute massage every day. Will definitely return.
Everything to do with the situation of the building itself is great. Beautiful views of the bay and surrounding mountains. Everything to do with staff and service on the other hand is confused and awkward, lacking warmth and hospitality. We visited in the morning as non-guests for coffee and we're disappointed by the overall institutional feeling and 'plus plus' nature of every service. We felt priority is not on guest satisfaction but profit, and overall the hotel itself is lacking charm and character.
