Pros: Modern and almost hipster vibe is a complete contrast from the classic feel of Vienna. Healthy breakfast options sourced from locals. Amazing shower haha
Cons: May need to improve on the hospitality side. Too relax and no sense of urgency for guests.
It was nice looking, but the room was dirty and very dusty, we found multiple bugs (some still alive and a few dead ones in the bed after the room got cleaned).
There was construction going on starting on 8 am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They advertise as having soundproof rooms, but the drilling really wakes you up and makes you unable to sleep.
Breakfast was nice, but delivered in a box to your room every morning because of Corona. They do encourage you to eat breakfast downstairs with all the other patrons anyway and there are no other measures taken for Corona. Breakfast is kind of the same every day with small variations.
The bar had overpriced drinks and slow service. At one night we were the only ones there and when another couple arrives, they walked out because they weren't served after half an hour of sitting with a menu.
Toilet cubicle is made out of matte glass, so if you have to pee at night you'll wake up whoever is with you when you turn the lights on.
The location is great though, great access to the subways, trams and busses and the city center.
Great situation, super friendly staff and rooms are quiet big! Comfortable beds and bar open 24/7! I was there with my team and they made us feel like at home. I can highly recommend this place and looking already forward to come back soon. Cheers
A beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, close to the river, the main square, public transport and many restaurants and attractions. I loved my room and the concierge service was very attentive. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a few healthy options and very good espresso coffee by the bar staff! Don’t be daunted by the hotel entrance through a corridor of the post office on Fleischmarkt, there’s a gem at the end of the corridor I’d have appreciated more desk area in the rooms, as I visited the city on business, during my 4-day stay at the Ruby Lissi. I’d stay here again!
